Hotel brands need to further embrace technology in 2019 to continually dazzle international guests—and stay ahead of the competition—writes MotionPoint EVP Craig Witt in a guest column for HOTELS magazine.
The number of global travelers hailing from emerging and Asian markets have skyrocketed in recent years, as have adoption rates for technologies such as smartphones and virtual reality.
These growing trend will continue to grow, Witt writes, and eventually overlap nearly completely. This will impact the hospitality industry in the coming years. Hoteliers should consider-and invest in-new technologies to remain relevant.
